Mr Andrew Evans

Mr. Andrew Evans is the Manager of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University. His responsibilities cover teaching and research operations across all of Monash Universities’ campuses in Australia, Malaysia and South Africa. His work ranges from overseeing student admissions, to developing new courses, to forging new relationships with other international institutions.
Andrew has held senior roles at Deakin University, the University of Western Sydney, and the University of New South Wales.
During his time living in New South Wales, he was part of the NSW Community Relations Commission team that received the NSW Premier's Gold Medal for Social Justice for work with at-risk Arabic youth in Western Sydney and assisting disadvantaged students to attend University
With this background in social justice, Andrew is conscious that the values of equity and diversity must be kept in mind with his work  He strongly believes in initiatives that support students from all backgrounds, and was responsible for the creation of the Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences Scholars bursaries, which give a chance to bright students experiencing personal hardships.
