The Ritchie Centre is dedicated to improving the health of women and children through our innovative research into conditions that affect women’s health, pregnancy, fetal development and early childhood health. The Centre has more than 150 staff and students, including  Senior Scientists and Clinician Scientists.

The Ritchie Centre has key partnerships with the Monash University departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Paediatrics and with Victoria’s largest health service Southern Health through Monash Women’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital, Monash Newborn and The Melbourne Children’s Sleep Unit. Ritchie Centre staff provide teaching to undergraduate medical and science students and to postgraduate clinical trainees in obstetrics and gynaecology.
