Discovery tours
Monash Institute of Medical Research conducts free Discovery Tours for those interested in learning about the Institute's work and visiting its facilities.
Tours can be tailored to meet individual research interests and may include presentations from the Institute's scientists or guided tours of the Institute's laboratories in its seven centres:
Centre for Cancer Research
(genetic causes of cancer, cancer metastasis, molecular diagnosis and prognosis of cancer)
Centre for Functional Genomics and Human Disease
(the role of genes in disease)
Centre for Reproduction and Development
(male reproduction and immunology, stem cells)
Centre for Urological Research
(prostate disease)
Centre for Women's Health Research
(female gynaecological disorders such as endometriosis and fibroids)
The Ritchie Centre for Baby Health Research
(fetal and neonatal growth)
Centre for Pain Medicine and Palliative Care
(chronic pain conditions)
