Discovery tours

Monash Institute of Medical Research conducts free Discovery Tours for those interested in learning about the Institute's work and visiting its facilities.

Tours can be tailored to meet individual research interests and may include presentations from the Institute's scientists or guided tours of the Institute's laboratories in its four centres:

Centre for Cancer Research
(genetic causes of cancer, cancer metastasis, molecular diagnosis and prognosis of cancer)

Centre for Innate Immunity & Infectious Diseases
(how the immune system fights infectious diseases, inflammation and cancer)

Centre for Reproduction and Development
(adult and embryonic stem cells, the immune system in the male reproductive tract)

The Ritchie Centre for Baby Health Research
(fetal and neonatal growth, female gynaecological disorders such as endometriosis and fibroids, stem cells, maternal-fetal medicine)
