Patrons' Club

MIMR is renowned for its exciting, innovative research into a diverse range of health problems. The harsh reality of medical research, however, is that financial support is needed to translate research into practical outcomes. The Patrons' Club is for people and organisations committed to supporting our research from the scientific bench to the patient's bedside.

Patrons' Club members are asked pledge $1000 a year. This funding will play a key role in helping Institute Director Professor Bryan Williams realise his vision: to build a new, state-of-the-art facility by 2009 that will enable expansion into new areas of research and provide greater opportunities for collaboration between researchers at MIMR, Prince Henry's and Southern Health.

Members receive targeted communications about their specific research areas of interest, which will highlight the latest scientific breakthroughs and announcements. The Annual Patrons' Dinner and other Club events will provide members with networking opportunities with scientific researchers and fellow Patrons.
