Dr Elspeth Gold

Dr Elspeth Gold gained her PhD in 2002 from the Department of Anatomy and Structural Biology, University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. She investigated the role of activin growth factors in liver response to injury.

Dr Gold's current research examines how novel activin family members contribute to disrupting activin bioactivity and function within mouse prostate ducts. Measurement of novel activins in biological fluids is also being investigated.
