Dr Renea Taylor

Dr Renea Taylor

Dr Renea Taylor is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Urological Research. Monash. She currently holds a Peter Doherty Fellowship from the NHMRC to study prostate stem cell biology at Monash Immunology and Stem Cell Laboratories.

Dr Taylor previously held a Postdoctoral Traineeship Award from the Department of Defence, United States Army, Prostate Cancer Research Program; a prestigious international award that allowed her to remain in Australia to conduct her research at the Centre for Urological Research under the leadership of Professor Gail Risbridger.

While undertaking her PhD at MIMR, Dr Taylor was awarded several accolades including the Grisha Slovsky Award for an Outstanding Graduate Student at MIMR, Novartis Junior Scientist Award from Endocrine Society of Australia, Rakesh Kumar Award from Australasian Society for Experimental Pathology and was one of three finalists in the Young Australian of the Year Awards (Science and Technology Category).
