Dr Beverley J Vollenhoven MBBS (Hons), PhD, FRANZCOG, CREI

Associate Professor Beverley Vollenhoven is head of Gynaecology at Southern Health where she sub specialises in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  She is also head of the Contraceptive Counselling Clinic, a Consultant Gynaecologist in the Menopause Clinic at the Monash Medical Centre and a clinician at Monash IVF.

Associate Professor Vollenhoven’s research interests include infertility, menopause, and ovulatory disorders and their treatment. Her key research interest has been the growth and development of uterine fibroids which has logically led her to be a Founding Members of The Melbourne Fibroid Clinic.

Associate Professor Vollenhoven is actively involved in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, is a Senior Examiner for the Australian Medical Council and has over 60 publications.
