Dr Gillian NixonSenior ScientistRitchie Centre for Baby Health Research
Dr Gillian Nixon is a paediatric respiratory and sleep physician. She completed a MD while working as a research and clinical fellow at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, before carrying out post-doctoral research and training in paediatric sleep medicine at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Her research interests are in the physiology of obstructive sleep apnoea in children, abbreviated forms of polysomnography, and sleep disordered breathing in children with other medical conditions. She was appointed as a Senior Research Fellow in the Ritchie Centre for Baby Health Research in March 2006 and a Senior Scientist of the MIMR in February 2008. |
