Dr Lisa Walter

Dr Lisa Walter completed her Biomedical Science (Honours) degree in 2003 and her PhD 2008 in the Centre for Women’s Health Research, Monash Institute of Medical Research, Monash University. Her studies investigated the molecular regulation of endometrial angiogenesis.
Dr Walter joined the Ritchie Centre as a Research Fellow in February 2008. Her post doctoral research focuses on the effects of sleep disordered breathing on blood pressure and heart rate and their control during sleep, in pre-school and primary aged children. Other projects she is involved with are studies investigating the mechanisms involved in the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
